Stunning views from the bedroom, mind-blowingly clean and comfortable room with a great bathroom. The outstanding host dropped off a fabulous cheese tray and offered us toast & jam, super unexpected! Good location, convenient and quiet, with a helpful and friendly host. The beautiful setting lived up to its name, with large, light and airy rooms. Facilities for making our own breakfast were appreciated. Hellen made us feel at home and the small apartments had everything we needed, including a washing machine. Don't even get me started on the cute wallabies! 100% recommended.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location, situated on a little hillside overlooking the sea, was simply breathtaking. The view from my room, especially during sunrise and sunset, was truly mesmerizing and lifted my spirits. The staff provided amazing service, always courteous and helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a comfortable sitting area. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms and the free toiletries provided. Additionally, the hotel had great leisure facilities, including a car park and an outdoor dining area. I couldn't have asked for more.

The lack of good Wi-Fi and phone reception. However, this minor inconvenience didn't hinder my overall experience at all.

It was not within walking distance of the town of Bicheno. Having to drive in to go out for dinner was a nuisance. I prefer to walk and then don't have to worry if I've had a few glasses of wine.

We had the best stay at this hotel! The rooms were like small apartments, equipped with a full kitchen and a washing machine. The views from the hotel were astonishing, it was high on a headland with 180-degree view of the blue ocean. In addition, the hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the location. The hotel was also very accessible with transportation and parking available. One of the best features of the hotel was the delicious multi-course breakfast served outside of our room. We highly recommend this hotel!

I had an amazing stay at Bicheno'S Ocean View Retreat in Bicheno. The apartment was huge and had everything I needed, including a washing machine. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, with forest-covered mountains and turquoise blue water as far as the eye could see. The owners were incredibly helpful, providing great tips and suggestions for the local area. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing stay.

The retreat owners are very friendly and cooked lovely breakfast. The environment and the view are also excellent.

The cheese platter on arrival was a nice touch, and the breakfast was filling. The view was indeed stunning, with a great ocean panorama that really was as advertised. The location was convenient to nearby attractions, and the staff was welcoming and friendly.

The room was not up to par. The carpet was musty and there was a bit of a sewage smell in the bathroom.

We stayed at a retreat that was perched high on a hill overlooking the ocean, with easy access to a private beach. Our room was basic, but we had a view down to the ocean that was unbeatable. We also enjoyed a home-cooked breakfast each morning and appreciated the friendly service. The comfortable bed and clean bathroom were definite advantages.

It has a wonderful view of the sea and the landscape was excellent. The room was large and pretty and has all the kitchen equipment you need.
